Car Seat Recall: Your Next Step

Graco Car Seat Recalled Due to Harness Webbing Issue

Nearly two thousand Graco Car Seats have been recalled following an issue with the harness webbing, which has failed to meet Canada’s strength breaking standards. The company has spoken out about the regulation problem, saying that they’ll provide free replacement kits, along with a new harness and installation instructions for any models affected.

If you’re unsure if your Greco car seat has been recalled, here’s how to check:

    1. The products recalled are: "My Ride 65'' seats which were made between May 14, 2014 and July 30, 2014. It includes model numbers 1910553, 1910552 and 1910395 – check under the back of the car seat to find the date and model number.
    2. The seat should have the code 2014/06 on the webbing – the tag with this code will be on the back of the harness webbing.

If your car seat is one of the recalled products, the recall is expected to begin July 17th, 2017 and affected consumers are advised to call 1-800-345-4109 immediately.
