Ram Recall: Your Next Steps

Fiat Chrysler is recalling 46,000 Ram heavy-duty and medium-duty pickup trucks due to defective water pumps installed in the models. Although there have been no accidents or injuries reported on the problem, a defective water pump could potentially lead to an engine fire.

Impacted models include Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups and Ram 3500, 4500 and 5500 chassis cabs that were made between the years of 2013 to 2017.

If you own one of the above models, Fiat Chrysler will notify you about the error and dealers will replace the defective water pump for free.
